Another shoot with the beautiful Lauren. Scheduled this shoot in the later afternoon to catch this magic lighting. Totally worth it.
Here’s Lauren again, the same model from the Field Trip post. She has such a versatile face, and I am in love with her hair and eyes.
Her name is Hannah. We first met through church many years ago. Our friendship blossomed over late night instant messenger rambles. We are both night-owls. Night can be a lonely place. Your mind wanders through the quiet and unsettling spaces that you were too busy to take notice during the day. Whenever I find myself in one of these nights, I would send her a little greeting. More often than not, she would be there on the other end, and I would start trying to sort out my tangled up thoughts by organizing them into words. I can always count on her for understanding and advise.
Here she is, smiling bright as ever next to the man she loves. I wish them happiness.
Let’s say goodbye to those years when we ran across the field with our feet bare and our smiles pure.
Happiness was so simple back then.

Let’s take a field trip, and learn about the places that we’ve ruined.
Make up & photography: May
We took a road trip to North Carolina in mid-June. These photos were from the top of craggy pinnacle during sunset. The breathtaking view is now condensed to these pictures below. If only I could capture how it felt like to stand at the tip of the pinnacle overlooking the ever-expanding rolling mountains. Well, guess I will have to go back.
